How do I select a MIDI output device?
Open Settings (gear icon in the toolbar) and select your MIDI device from the Output dropdown. MSCNow will remember your selection.
What cue formats are supported?
You can enter cues as a single number (5), a comma-separated list (1, 5, 10), or a range (1-20). MSCNow auto-detects the format.
What does "Single Cue Mode" do?
When enabled, each cue is treated as an independent GO command. When disabled, cues are sent sequentially with the configured delay between them.
What is GO_OFF?
GO_OFF sends a release/stop command for the cuelist. Enable "Include GO_OFF at end" to automatically append this after your cue sequence.
How do I use the exported MIDI file in Pro Tools?
Import the MIDI file into your Pro Tools session. The MSC events will appear on a MIDI track that you can route to your MSC-compatible device or use with your show control system.
What macOS versions are supported?
MSCNow requires macOS 14.0 (Sonoma) or later and runs natively on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
